Guangdong Community Health Education Working Experience
Seminar and Kick-off Meeting for Civil Health Literacy
Promotion was held in Jiangmen city, Guangdong province
from September 17 to September 19，2009.Director of National
Medical Department, Li Xinhua, and the Deputy Inspector of
Health Department, Huang Xiaojun as well as Institute for
Health Education Manager Tang Liqing attended this meeting.
The Chairman of Guokang, Mr. Yang Huashan, was invited as
the only representative of health management enterprises to
the meeting.
During the meeting, delegates had a heated discussion over
health education, offering advice and suggestions actively
for constructing a harmonious socialist society and
promoting health education. Mr. Yang Huashan stated the
hard work and efforts Guokang had done in health education
to share with participants the practical experience on
health management.
Guokang always assumes health education and health
promotion as its responsibility. For the past three years,
Guokang has held all kinds of health seminars as many as
more than 80 and owned 10 million audiences, bringing about
great social benefits.
Manager of Health Education Institute, Mr. Tang Liqing said
that health education and promotion need the participation
of enterprises such as Guokang. Additionally, Mr. Tang also
expressed that Province Health Education Institute would
give enormous support for Guokang’s development.
